Welcome to Canadian Spirit Kennel, breeders of quality, registered Bichon Frise and Havanese dogs. Located in the Salmon River Valley, 14 kms South of Salmon Arm and 37 kms North West of Vernon, BC, we have been selling and raising Bichon Frise since 2004 and have been raising Havanese since 2006.
 Our Kennel is registered with the C.K.C. (Canadian Kennel Club). The facility where we keep the dogs is 1600 sq ft and has a viewing area as well as very well maintained doggie quarters. Our Bichon Frise breeding dogs are from championship stock. We have an American Champion in the mix. He "Judge Choice Enufenuf" is now retired and his son "Nitro" is his successor. Our other signature male is "Boywonder N Wateredge" the son of a Canadian Champion and his successor will be his son "Thunder N Lighting".
We have 10 female Bichon Frise who also have parents with Championship bloodlines.
Our Havanese line up is not as extensive, but it does provide for an alternative to the white Bichon Frise. We currently have one male and two females in our breeding program. The Havanese is also from the Bichon Frise family originating from the Mediterranean, most recently from Cuba, hence the name "Havana" expanded to be Havanese.
